Summary of Duties
Leasing Agent is typically the first person representing LA Luxury Estates Leasing for a prospective tenant. This polished, outgoing professional will be a seeker of excellence thriving in a fast paced environment while being resourceful and meeting tight deadlines. The Leasing Agent works in conjunction with the management team to achieve the leasing goals established for the property as well as the goals of LA Luxury Estates Leasing.

Job Duties:
  • Maintain current knowledge of home availability, rates and features.
  • Discuss tenant or agents’ tenants housing needs and desires.
  • Review LA Luxury Estates Leasing tenant information packet, available homes, deposits, etc.
Present information regarding available properties and community offerings.
  • Follow established policy and procedures in the qualification, screening and acceptance of applicants for residency.
  • Conduct property tours: include showing amenities, comps, community features, etc.
  • Conduct open houses for owners to facilitate leasing the house and tenant leads.
  • Maintain prospect and leasing data LA Luxury Estates Leasing systems.
  • Follow-up within 48 hours of showing with a prospective resident if lease was not signed.

  • Process timely household annual and interim income certification paperwork.
  • Prepare lease-related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
Explain all lease documents to new and existing tenants.

Ensure all documents are correctly completed prior to tenant move-in.
  • Prepare marketing letters, flyers, etc.
to prospective tenants as appropriate.
  • Prepare property information packet.
  • Prepare move-in packet.
  • Assist with managing the day-to-day operation of the properties under management
Work closely with Property Manager to ensure homes are ready for move-in and maintained exceptionally
  • Attend staff meetings as required.
  • Maintain and safeguard confidential information.
  • Remain flexible, receptive and adaptive to change.
  • Understand and apply principles of good housekeeping and safety.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by COO
  • Qualifications: must have California Real Estate License * Two or more year’s leasing experience in either single family homes or luxury apartment building preferred.
  • Proven ability to deal well with people and to get them to feel comfortable quickly.
  • Proven ability to “close” a sale.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting and real estate law practices.
  • Proven ability to work in a team atmosphere.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel) and Appfolio software.
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize work projects.
  • Follow and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
